Baptisms

Baptisms are celebrated during regularly scheduled Sunday worship services on especially appropriate Sundays during the Church year.  The  traditional days always available for baptism are All Saints Sunday, the Feast of the Baptism of our Lord (Sunday after Epiphany), Easter Vigil or Easter Day, and Pentecost.   If you wish to have your child baptized at St. John's, please contact the church office at 301-927-1156.

Weddings

The celebration and blessing of a marriage is a cause for great rejoicing. As a Sacramental rite of the Church, it is appropriately administered in the parish under the canons and policies of The Episcopal Church and the Diocese of Washington, as well as the customs of our parish. Please contact the Church Office for more information about planning your wedding at Christ Church.
